Gwangyang High School Students Successfully Complete 'Career and Academic Counseling'

Gwangyang City in Jeollanam-do announced that the first-ever "Career and College Admission Counseling Day," held to provide various career exploration opportunities for high school students, was successfully completed with the participation of over 120 high school students from grades 1 to 3 and their parents in the region.
The event, held over three days from the 21st to the 23rd at the Jungmadong Community Center, utilized a professional college admission diagnostic program to offer comprehensive information on career and college admission, including personalized 1:1 university and major application strategies and guidance on managing school records, receiving great responses from students and parents.
Through consultations with professional consultants, 1st and 2nd-year high school students were able to predict the universities and majors they could apply to in advance, providing an opportunity to set a direction for their college admission, while 3rd-year students received significant help in establishing successful college admission strategies through this counseling.
A first-year high school student who participated in the Career and College Admission Counseling Day said, "I am very satisfied with the counseling because expert coaching beforehand provided guidance on managing my school records and grades, allowing me to prepare systematically for the remaining admission period."
Tak Young-hee, Director of the Education and Youth Division, said, "I hope this was a great help to students in the region," and added, "We will continue to make efforts to provide various information and support regarding career and college admission for Gwangyang City students and their parents."
