Where Should the Education Budget Be Spent? ... Ulsan Office of Education Conducts Survey
Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct a survey until August 10 to gather diverse opinions from citizens ahead of the 2024 fiscal year budget formulation.
The survey is open to all Ulsan citizens, including students, parents, and school staff. Participants can take part through the Office of Education website under Citizen Participation Budget - Survey or by using the QR code to participate via mobile.
The survey covers 17 items across 15 categories, including the priority areas for budget allocation, priority investment targets by category and project, and projects that should be expanded, newly established, reduced, or abolished.
An official from the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education stated, “We will actively reflect the survey results to operate a transparent Ulsan education budget together with citizens,” and added, “Since anyone can participate, we hope for much interest and participation.”
In addition to the survey period, the Ulsan Office of Education operates a Citizen Participation Budget Proposal Board on its website and a 1:1 chat room on the KakaoTalk channel to allow citizens to submit various opinions at any time.
