Chosun University Hospital Reaches Dramatic Agreement Ahead of Strike
The labor and management at Chosun University Hospital reached a dramatic agreement on the collective agreement just one day before the strike.
Although the labor and management had conflicts due to differences after a verbal agreement on the 14th, they continued discussions on the key issues to seek a compromise.
Negotiations resumed again the previous afternoon, and finally, around midnight, a tentative agreement was reached.
The issue with the greatest difference in opinion between labor and management regarding securing adequate personnel and maintaining the staff quota was decided to be discussed and implemented through the labor-management council.
The tentative agreement will be finalized after a vote by union members, and the strike scheduled to begin on the 27th was withdrawn.
