Pukyong National University Hosts 'Summer Fisheries School' for Local Middle School Students
National Pukyong National University held the "2023 College of Fisheries Summer Fisheries School" on the 25th at the International Conference Room of the Fisheries Science Hall to celebrate the summer vacation.
Hosted by the College of Fisheries Science at Pukyong National University, this event is an educational program that opens the university's classrooms and laboratories to local youth, providing opportunities to experience fisheries science. About 70 middle school students from the Busan area participated.

Students participating in the program experienced experimental and practical programs from instructors composed of Pukyong National University students, including ▲ Exploration and utilization of marine invertebrates ▲ Understanding fish meat processed products and fish cake manufacturing practice ▲ Understanding ecosystems and creating their own ecosphere ▲ Observation and utilization of various seafood.
Pukyong National University has been conducting the Summer Fisheries School program every summer vacation for 24 years since 1999, and last year received certification as an excellent educational donation institution from the Ministry of Education.
