At the seminar, the Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries In-house Partner Council collectively submitted the appointment of statutory safety managers according to the "Dedicated Safety Manager System for Partner Companies," demonstrating their commitment to establishing a self-regulatory prevention system and blocking major accidents by deploying dedicated personnel for risk assessment.
Additionally, as a measure to spread the risk assessment culture, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries will conduct training for 100 safety managers and supervisors from 100 in-house partner and subcontractor companies over three sessions from the 25th to the 28th, aiming to improve the level of risk assessment. They will also share support measures for recognized risk assessment projects and the establishment of a safety culture practice.
Director Park Cheol-jun of the Mokpo Branch said, "I hope that this risk assessment seminar, conducted for Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries’ partner companies, which are representative workplaces in our region, will serve as an opportunity for workers to work in safe workplaces, and that we will all work together to achieve this."
Executive Director Lee Man-seop, Head of Safety and Public Affairs at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, stated, "We will continue to closely cooperate with government agencies to expand win-win cooperation between companies, and do our best to create a safe working environment through the establishment of a safety culture based on risk assessment and support for self-regulatory prevention systems."
