Seongnam City Provides Cooling Cost Subsidies to 1,600 Apartment Security Offices
Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will provide cooling cost subsidies to security offices to improve the summer working conditions of security guards in apartment complexes.
The support targets 1,600 security offices (guard posts) in 391 apartment complexes within the city. The support period is two months, July and August, with a subsidy amount of 20,000 KRW per month per location, totaling 40,000 KRW.
To receive the subsidy, applicants must submit an application form by visiting the Apartment Housing Division's Apartment Housing Support Team at Seongnam City Hall or send it by mail by the 11th of next month.
Separately, since 2018, Seongnam City has supported the installation costs of heating and cooling devices amounting to over 560 million KRW for 1,068 security offices (guard posts) in 90 apartment complexes.
