Curly Launches 'Peach Preference Sampler'... Part of Win-Win Management Initiative
6 Domestic Baekdo Varieties
Reverse Customers Until the 27th, Then All Customers
Kurly announced on the 25th that it will launch the 'Peach Preference Sampler,' which allows customers to try all six representative white peach varieties in Korea.
The white peach varieties included in this sampler are Cheonjungdo, Geumgangsumil, Baekbong, Akaski, Jeokwoldo, and Madoka, totaling six types. The ripening period varies depending on the variety. Considering this, Kurly designed the sampler so that customers can explore their preferences by tasting two types of peaches per day. Until the 27th, the sampler will be sold exclusively to Kurly Lovers customers, and afterward, it will be available to all customers until supplies last.
Kurly explained that the launch of this sampler reflects the values of diversity and coexistence well. Until now, sweetness has often been the standard for peach marketability, which meant that varieties with unique aroma or texture were not fully recognized for their value. For this reason, Kurly discovered and encouraged small-scale farmers growing minority varieties who faced difficulties securing sales channels, leading to the release of this sampler.
