IGAWorks Hires ChosunGuk, Former Nielsen Media Korea CEO
Joined as Head of ZTL Business Division
Big data platform company IGAWorks (CEO Maguk Seong) announced on the 25th that it has appointed Jo Seon-guk, former CEO of Nielsen Media Korea, as the head of the ZTL Business Division. IGAWorks ZTL (GTEL) is a comprehensive media solution characterized by realizing practical integrated media performance analysis based on data. With this recruitment, the company aims to accelerate innovation beyond the broadcasting advertising market practices that relied on a single measurement tool.
Director Jo started by founding an independent media agency in 2004, and has served as CEO of GroupM Korea, Executive Director of CJENM Global Business Division, among other roles. Recognized for his long experience in the media field, he served as CEO of Nielsen Media Korea until May. Nielsen Media Korea has provided ratings, which were used as indirect evaluation indicators in the existing broadcasting advertising market.

Director Jo plans to focus on expanding the solution ecosystem so that innovative performance measurement methodologies, such as analyzing actual TV ad viewer purchase conversion by linking TV viewing data with mobile data, can quickly take root in the market. Director Jo said, "The broadcasting advertising market has relied on small-scale panel survey indicators for over 30 years, and advertisers have had difficulty identifying actual viewing customers even after paying hundreds of millions of won in costs." He added, "Through the activation of the ZTL solution, we will support precise identification of ad viewers and actual conversion status, and contribute to transforming the broadcasting advertising sector into a market where direct performance measurement is possible."
