Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, announced on the 24th that it recently conducted the first class of the 'Signboard Design School' for residents and business owners within the signboard improvement project area.
This education program is planned to be conducted three times by August, targeting residents and business owners of Chungjang-ro 4-ga, which was selected last year for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's signboard improvement contest project, and Chungjang-ro 5-ga, which is preparing to apply for the contest next year. The program includes theoretical education and field visits to excellent signboard improvement areas.
Dong-gu aims to establish a foundation that allows business owners to manage their signboards independently after the project by providing education on ▲the purpose of the project ▲understanding and enhancing insight into signboard design ▲safety management after signboard maintenance ▲and outdoor advertising law to residents in the signboard improvement project area.
