The K-Content Expo is a business-to-business (B2B) event aimed at promoting K-content to major overseas countries. Through the K-Content Expo, the Ministry supports the expansion of export channels for domestic content companies.
This event will be attended by over 60 major buyers from Europe, including the UK, France, and Germany. Thirty-five domestic content companies will participate, conducting one-on-one export consultations, content seminars, and networking exchange meetings.
On the first day of the expo, a forum will be held to discuss topics such as 'The Global Market Entry of K-Webtoons,' 'The Advent of the OTT Era,' and 'The Expandability of Content IP' to promote exchange in the content industry.
On the 25th, a networking exchange event between domestic content companies and invited overseas buyers will take place. Export consultations will be held from the 25th to the 27th. The Ministry supports on-site signing of memorandums of understanding (MOUs) if contracts are concluded during the export consultations.
The Ministry plans to increase the number of K-Content Expo events and expand their regions. Starting with the UK this year, the K-Content Expo will be held in the United States, Mexico, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, and other locations to promote K-content in Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. Last year, the K-Content Expo was held in Singapore and Spain.
