This tournament uses a modified Stableford system awarding 8 points for an albatross, 5 points for an eagle, 2 points for a birdie, 0 points for par, -1 point for a bogey, and -3 points for double bogey or worse.

Choi Jin-ho started at the 10th hole (par 4), making 'stepping stone birdies' at the 11th and 13th holes, followed by a birdie at the 18th hole (par 5). In the back nine, he showed resilience by collecting 4 birdies at the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 9th holes. His strategy of reducing strokes on all four par 5 holes stood out. Choi Jin-ho debuted on the Korean Tour in 2006 and has accumulated 8 career wins. This year, he has played in 11 tournaments but has yet to win. His best finish was 6th place at the Woori Financial Championship in May.

Lee Jung-hwan added 14 points to take the lead by 1 point (28 points). Lee Dong-min added 11 points, moving up to 3rd place (26 points).
