Jindo Police Report Incident of Shooting Steel Marbles and Fleeing
Multiple Steel Marbles Fired at Multi-Family Housing... Windows Shattered
In Jindo-eup, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, an incident occurred where someone repeatedly shot steel marbles at a villa and fled, and the police are currently investigating.
According to Jindo Police on the 21st, on the 17th of last month, reports were received that steel marbles were repeatedly flying and breaking windows at the office of the Korean Senior Citizens Association Jindo-gun branch in Seongnae-ri, Jindo-eup, and at a multi-family house near the SK gas station.
At the time of the incident, three holes about 0.6 cm in size were found in the glass window on the stairs between the first and second floors of the building.
Steel marbles were found at the scene and were examined in detail by the National Forensic Service, but no significant clues were discovered, and the suspect was not captured on CCTV, it was reported.
The police are currently keeping various possibilities open and continuing their investigation through inquiries and other means.
A police official stated, “Residents who witnessed the incident or know the person involved are asked to report or provide information to the police.”
