Working in Ulsan and Taking a Vacation, 'Ukeication' Rises... 8 Workation Hotels Offer Benefits
Ulsan City Collaborates with ‘Yogi-ottae’ for Joint Marketing Campaign
Do you know about 'Ucation'? Ulsan City is promoting Ulsan not just as a summer travel destination but as a holy land of 'workation'.
Ulsan City is conducting workation marketing in collaboration with 'Yogi-Oh-Ddae', a comprehensive travel and leisure online travel agency.
This project is a special event jointly planned by Yogi-Oh-Ddae, Ulsan City, and the Ulsan Culture and Tourism Foundation to revitalize workation, which has recently gained popularity as a new working style.
Workation, which has become a trend after COVID-19, means combining work and vacation. It is a work culture where people work freely outside the office, such as at vacation spots.
'Ucation' is a term combining Ulsan + work + vacation, created to develop a specialized workation where people work and travel in Ulsan.
Yogi-Oh-Ddae offers customers visiting Ulsan for workation purposes a lodging discount coupon of up to 50,000 KRW from the 21st until August 9.
The applicable hotels are eight workation hotels in Ulsan: Hotel Hyundai by Lahan Ulsan, Lotte Hotel Ulsan, Lotte City Hotel Ulsan, Shilla Stay Ulsan, Mercure Ambassador Ulsan, Hotel Riverside Ulsan, Daum Hotel Ulsan, and Ulsan Ashton Hotel.
The coupons are available on a first-come, first-served basis until August 20, and the stay period is until September 30. Depending on the payment service such as Toss and KakaoPay, an additional discount of up to 10% is also provided.
Additionally, customers who participate in a survey after using the accommodation will be entered into a draw to receive a 10,000 KRW voucher usable on Yogi-Oh-Ddae, and those who verify their reservation at the accommodation through Yogi-Oh-Ddae will receive a souvenir. Detailed information can be found on the Yogi-Oh-Ddae mobile app.
Ulsan City also provides information on various tourist attractions in Ulsan, Ulsan Tourism Taxi (4 hours for 40,000 KRW), and Ulsan Pay (7% discount) through the Yogi-Oh-Ddae mobile app so that workation users can enjoy diverse benefits.
