Shinsegae Group Supports Flood Damage Recovery in Affected Areas with 500 Million KRW
Shinsegae Group announced on the 20th that it has donated 500 million won to help communities severely affected by the heavy rains.
The donation will be used for flood recovery and support for disaster victims through the National Disaster Relief Association. Emart plans to deliver about 20,000 bottles of water and 13,000 cup noodles to the National Disaster Relief Association on the 21st. These supplies will be provided to residents in flood-affected areas across the country.
Earlier, Emart24 urgently supported about 20,000 relief items, including bottled water, beverages, and cup noodles, enough for 5,000 people, to 12 cities and counties in Chungnam, Chungbuk, Gyeongbuk, and Jeonbuk provinces affected by the heavy rain on the 17th. Emart Everyday also delivered about 3,000 instant rice packs and 7,000 cup noodles to disaster victims staying in temporary shelters in these four provinces on the 19th. The group stated that the total relief supplies provided by these three companies amount to approximately 65,000 items.
