“Now Come to Bungaem Market with Peace of Mind” … Daegu Jung-gu Invests 1 Billion Won in Roof Renovation
On the 20th, Jung-gu, Daegu City completed the 'Bungae Market Roof Improvement Project,' which started in March and ended on July 14, to enhance the competitiveness of the market by improving and modernizing the facilities of the traditional market, and began seeking new opportunities.
The 'Bungae Market Roof Improvement Project' was carried out with a budget of over 1 billion KRW, reflecting the opinions of the merchants' association and focusing on the convenience of both merchants and consumers. To provide a pleasant shopping environment, new windows, store partitions, and rainwater pipes were installed, and outdated ventilation systems were replaced. The roof and walls had asbestos removed and were replaced with first-class non-combustible materials that do not emit harmful toxic gases, significantly reducing the fire risk inherent in traditional markets and creating an environment where consumers can shop with peace of mind.
