KOSPI Turns Upward on Individual and Foreign Buying... Recovers 2600 Level
The KOSPI index turned upward due to buying pressure from individuals and foreigners.
As of 10:57 a.m. on the 20th, the KOSPI index was trading at 2,608.89, up 0.65 points (0.02%) from the previous trading day. The index started the day down 12.86 points (0.49%) at 2,595.38 but then reversed to rise and recovered the 2,600 level.
Individuals and foreigners bought stocks worth approximately 92.8 billion KRW and 92.5 billion KRW, respectively, while institutions sold stocks worth 180.9 billion KRW.

At the same time, the KOSDAQ index was also on the rise, recording 928.25, up 4.53 points (0.49%) from the previous day. Individuals were the sole net buyers with purchases worth about 274.8 billion KRW, while foreigners and institutions were net sellers with sales of approximately 205.4 billion KRW and 49.9 billion KRW, respectively.
