Jeil Energy and Hanmaek Development Also Contribute Funds
Due to the heavy rain, 14 people have died, 3 are missing, and 456 have been displaced, leading to an outpouring of donations and relief supplies to help Yecheon-gun, the area most severely affected nationwide.
On the 20th, Yecheon-gun announced that donations have been continuously received from companies and expatriates across the country, including 30 million KRW from Kyunghan Korea Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Sang-yeon, Lee Jun-hyung), 10 million KRW from Samhan C1 (CEO Han Sam-hwa, Han Seung-yoon), 10 million KRW from Hanmaek Development Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Ki-joo), 10 million KRW from Jeil Energy Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jae-hyun), 10 million KRW from Bogochem Co., Ltd. (CEO Yoon Young-chul), and 5 million KRW from Daemyung Co., Ltd. (CEO Son Soon-ja).
Bottled water arrived as relief supplies to help Yecheon-gun, where the heavy rain damage is the worst in the country.
