POSCO Group Donates 2 Billion KRW for Heavy Rain Damage Relief Fund
POSCO Group will donate 2 billion KRW for flood damage recovery.
POSCO Group has decided to donate 2 billion KRW in disaster relief funds to the National Disaster Relief Association to support the rapid recovery and aid for victims in areas affected by the recent record-breaking heavy rains. POSCO Pohang Steelworks will provide relief supplies worth 50 million KRW to Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Choi Jeong-woo, Chairman of POSCO Group, said, "I hope this will help the residents affected by the heavy rains return to their daily lives as soon as possible."

Based on its corporate citizenship management philosophy, POSCO Group has actively supported recovery efforts whenever disasters occur domestically and abroad. In April of this year, it donated 2 billion KRW for recovery from the Gangneung wildfire, and last year, it contributed 2 billion KRW each for wildfire recovery in Gyeongbuk and Gangwon regions and for flood damage recovery in the Seoul metropolitan area.
