Saeul Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1, which has completed its planned preventive maintenance, has resumed power generation and reached 100% output.
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Headquarters (Head: Jo Seok-jin) announced, "Saeul Unit 1 (Pressurized Water Reactor type, 1.4 million kW capacity), which entered its 4th planned preventive maintenance on April 16, resumed power generation on the 16th and has been operating at 100% output since 5 p.m. on the 19th."

During this planned preventive maintenance period, Saeul Unit 1 underwent statutory inspections according to the Nuclear Safety Act, replaced nuclear fuel, and conducted inspections and maintenance on major equipment and facilities to enhance the safety and reliability of the power generation facilities.
