A representative from FG Korea, which operates Five Guys in Korea, announced this on the 19th, stating, "We expect weekday customers to be nearby office workers, and weekend customers to be leisure visitors coming to the Han River and shopping facilities." Yeouido is Seoul's representative office-dense area, home to various institutions and companies in finance, politics, and other fields, with a daily floating population of 660,000.

The second branch, opening in October, will have 100 seats and will offer the same free peanuts and drink refill services as the first branch. Five Guys is an American hamburger brand brought to Korea by Kim Dong-seon, Head of Strategy at Hanwha Galleria, with the first store having opened last month in Gangnam. Additionally, there are plans to open more than 15 stores nationwide over the next five years.
