Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Hanul Headquarters Announces 2024 Business Support Project Competition

Resident Briefing Session to be Held on the 27th
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Director Lee Seyong) will conduct the 2024 Business Support Project contest from the 25th until 6 PM on August 24th.
The Business Support Project is a support initiative implemented by nuclear power operators under the "Act on Support for Areas Surrounding Power Plants" to promote economic revitalization and improve welfare for local residents in the areas surrounding power plants, aiming for mutual development with the community.
The 2024 Business Support Project budget of Hanul Headquarters is a total of 16.53 billion KRW, an increase of 1.41 billion KRW compared to the previous year. The contest fields include six categories: ▲Education and Scholarship Projects ▲Regional Economic Cooperation Projects ▲Surrounding Environment Improvement Projects ▲Regional Welfare Projects ▲Regional Culture Promotion Projects ▲Other Support Projects.
To enhance understanding of the projects and encourage active participation among local institutions, organizations, and residents, Hanul Headquarters plans to hold an explanatory meeting at the Hanul Energy Farm Grand Auditorium on the 27th.
Director Lee Seyong stated, "Starting this year, project support staff will be stationed at the Hanul Energy Farm Regional Communication Office to guide applicants on how to prepare project plans and documents, as well as to accept contest applications."
