Emergency Inspection and Evacuation Support Team Formed to Prepare for Slope Collapse
Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is making every effort to prevent casualties by forming a rainy season slope inspection and evacuation support team in preparation for slope collapse accidents caused by the recent continuous heavy rains.

View original imageThe inspection and evacuation support team consists of 204 members in total, organized under the command of the county governor, with the deputy governor as the head, 145 government official inspectors, and 59 evacuation support members including police and military units.
The inspection team conducts focused surveillance activities on disaster-prone sections such as areas at risk of slope collapse, residential areas adjacent to forests, and regions where casualties are a concern. When a risk is anticipated, they actively support pre-evacuation in cooperation with the evacuation team.
