From Tomorrow Morning, the Monsoon Will Subside... Heatwave to Hit Inland Areas
Daytime 25~33°C... Inland Feels Like Temperature Above 33°C
From the morning of the 19th, the monsoon will enter a lull nationwide. However, heavy rain will fall in some areas until then, so caution is required.
As of 4 PM on the 18th, rain is falling at a rate of 30 to 60 mm per hour in various parts of the southern regions.
Rain is expected until the morning of the 19th in central Gangwon, southern Gangwon, inland southern Chungcheong, southern regions, and Jeju. Especially in Daejeon, southeastern Chungnam, Chungbuk, Honam, and Jeju, heavy and intense rain may continue until that day, and in Yeongnam, very heavy rain may fall until the early morning of the 19th.
The expected rainfall amounts from now until the morning of the 19th by region are: northern inland Gyeonggi 5?20 mm, southern Gangwon 10?60 mm, central and northern Gangwon 5?20 mm, southern Chungbuk 20?80 mm, Daejeon, southern Chungnam, central Chungbuk 10?60 mm, Sejong, northern inland Chungnam, northern Chungbuk 5?20 mm, eastern Jeonnam 50?120 mm, eastern Jeonbuk 20?80 mm, Gwangju, western Jeonnam, western Jeonbuk 10?60 mm, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, Dokdo, Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam 50?120 mm (with Gyeongbuk, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam possibly exceeding 180 mm), Jeju mountain areas 50?120 mm, southern and eastern Jeju 20?80 mm, northern and western Jeju 10?60 mm.

Temperatures will rise, but with high humidity, the perceived temperature will exceed 33 degrees Celsius mainly inland, leading to heatwave warnings in some areas. Those working outdoors for rain damage recovery should refer to the Korea Meteorological Administration's heatwave impact forecasts and prepare for the heat.
