Gwangju Shinsegae (CEO Lee Dong-hoon) announced on the 18th that it will hold the 'Summer Deep Sleep Fair' until the 23rd for those who cannot sleep due to tropical nights.

With the summer season and the continuous heat during the rainy season, interest in products that help with deep sleep is increasing. The sleep market targeting those suffering from insomnia is rapidly growing to the extent that the term 'sleeponomics' has emerged.

Accordingly, Gwangju Shinsegae prepared this event with the purpose of proposing sleep solutions and providing sleep consulting for customers struggling with tropical night insomnia.

The highlight of this event is the experiential content. Various programs allow customers to directly experience and purchase everything related to deep sleep. Essential items for a comfortable bed such as beds, mattresses, and pillows can be experienced and consulted in the most comfortable state.

Among the participating brands, first, the local traditional brand ‘Unhyeongung,’ a traditional Korean bedding set manufacturer located in Yangdong Market during its early opening, is selling comforters, pads, pillows, etc., at a 50-70% discounted price.

Also, ‘Simmons’ is offering an additional 5% discount on all Black Label mattresses on top of existing discounts, along with mattress discounts ranging from 8% to 25%.

Additionally, ‘Ganuda,’ which introduces functional pillows applying manual therapy techniques to correct physical problems caused by poor lifestyle habits and posture and to help achieve proper sleep, is participating. Ganuda offers a 20% discount on pillows, up to 30% on nap/care products, and 50% on cooling pads.
