Suncheon City Launches Support for Improvement of Dining Establishment Facilities
Support Up to 8 Million Won Depending on the Business
Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) announced that it will carry out a facility environment improvement project in the second half of the year to create a clean and safe dining-out culture and to enable everyone to conveniently use dining establishments.
The city plans to support dining establishments that wish to ▲ install entrance ramps for the convenience of the elderly and disabled (up to 800,000 KRW) ▲ replace floor-level tables with standing tables (up to 8,000,000 KRW) ▲ improve aging facilities such as bathroom and kitchen floors (up to 1,600,000 KRW).
The target establishments are general restaurants, snack bars, and bakeries operated by business owners who have had an address in Suncheon City for more than six months, excluding those that have received administrative sanctions such as business suspension or higher.
The recruitment scale is 21 establishments, and business owners who wish to apply should check the announcement on the Suncheon City website and prepare application documents such as the application form and estimate, then apply to the Food Hygiene Division of Suncheon City Public Health Center by the 25th.
A Suncheon City official said, “We hope this project will further develop the local dining culture and contribute to economic revitalization.”
