OB Brewery Provides Emergency Support with 'OB Water' to Areas Affected by Heavy Rainfall
Over 20,000 Cans Delivered Through Hope Bridge
OB Beer supports ‘OB Water,’ a disaster relief water product directly produced to help victims in the Chungnam region affected by heavy rain damage.
On the 18th, OB Beer announced that it will provide about 20,000 cans (355 ml) of disaster relief water cans to victims in the Cheongyang area of Chungnam, which suffered flooding and other damage due to record-breaking heavy rain, through the nonprofit organization Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.
‘OB Water’ is a 355mL canned product produced 100% for disaster relief by OB Beer and can be used as drinking water. It is made by adding a small amount of carbonation to purified water using existing brewery facilities. It is produced safely and cleanly through the rigorous purification process of beer brewing and sensory inspections by inspectors.
An OB Beer official said, "We decided to support OB Water to help the victims who suffered great damage from the record-breaking heavy rain, even if only a little," and added, "We hope for a swift recovery without further damage."
