Seoul Gangseo-gu Provides Jeonse Fraud Prevention Training for New Public Officials
Seoul Gangseo-gu Conducts ‘Jeonse Fraud Prevention Education’ on the 17th for Newly Appointed Public Officials in 2023
Leading the Establishment of a Sound Real Estate Transaction Order by Preventing Real Estate Brokerage Accidents
Seoul Gangseo-gu conducted ‘Jeonse Fraud Prevention Education’ on the 17th for newly appointed public officials in 2023, taking the lead in establishing a sound real estate transaction order by preventing real estate brokerage accidents.
The district organized this event recognizing that most of the new appointees, who are in their 20s and 30s and are early in their careers, are at high risk of exposure to jeonse fraud due to their lack of experience in real estate transaction contracts.
The education covered both theory and practice, including precautions when signing housing lease contracts, cases and types of jeonse fraud damage, jeonse deposit return guarantee insurance, and the brokerage fee reduction project for young tenants.

An official from the district stated, “Since many jeonse fraud cases occur among early career workers and the youth demographic, jeonse fraud prevention education for newly appointed public officials is necessary,” adding, “We hope this provided the new appointees with a stable housing foundation and time to familiarize themselves with district administration duties.”
