Mr. Kwon Ho-ryang (73), who brought Jinsuni from an acquaintance last August, said, "When I went out to the yard at 5 a.m. yesterday (16th), Jinsuni, who had been swept away by the landslide, came back wagging her tail."
Mr. Kwon said that Jinsuni was covered in dirt when found, adding, "I cleaned Jinsuni's fur, and a whole bucket of dirt came out." He also said, "It's amazing that she found her way back home even though she must have been swept down to the village below."

He added, "I'm relieved that Jinsuni, who is like family, is safe. I will take care of her for life and live happily." It was also reported that the villagers welcomed Jinsuni's return.
