Goseong-gun Opens Applications for Second Half Rural and Fisheries Development Fund Loans
Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, provides loan support through the second half rural and fishing village development fund implemented by Gyeongsangnam-do to strengthen the competitiveness of farmers.
The rural and fishing village development fund supported this time is operating funds needed for purchasing agricultural materials, land, and facilities, with 595 million KRW allocated to Goseong-gun.
Applicants include farmers and fishermen whose main occupation is agriculture and fisheries, agricultural and fishery-related corporations, and producer organizations. If selected applicants give up, move out, or use the funds for purposes other than intended, their selection will be canceled and they will be excluded from selection for three years starting the following year.
The support amount per project is up to 50 million KRW for individuals and up to 70 million KRW for corporations and organizations. The loan interest rate is 1% per annum, with a one-year grace period and three years of equal installment repayment.

Applications can be submitted to the local eup/myeon office by August 4. After internal review by the county, the final decision will be made by the province, and loans can be obtained from September through the NH Nonghyup Bank Goseong-gun branch.
