Dongmun Construction Selected as Preferred Negotiator for Remodeling BTL of Engineering Building 1 at Chungnam National University
Dongmoon Construction announced on the 17th that it has been selected as the preferred negotiation candidate for the Chungnam National University Engineering Building 1 Facility Improvement Build-Transfer-Lease (BTL) project.
This project involves remodeling the Engineering Building 1, from basement level 1 to the 4th floor above ground, with a total project cost of approximately 35.2 billion KRW. After 18 months of construction, the facility will be operated for 20 years.
Dongmoon Construction (80%), along with Duwon ENG and Sejong Telecom (each 10%), are participating as Construction Investors (CI). The design is handled by MAS Architects and Donghae Comprehensive Engineering. Operation is managed by SMPT (formerly Shinsegae Management), and construction project management (PM) is overseen by RTNet.
Dongmoon Construction reportedly received high evaluations across all areas, including the symbolic and future-oriented facade plan of the engineering building, floor-by-floor remodeling and interior plans, eco-friendly energy specialization and equipment plans, and operation system plans.
