'Economic Delegation' Daewoo E&C Establishes MOU with Polish Construction Association for Cooperation
"Promotion of Various Projects Including Energy and Infrastructure"
Daewoo E&C, participating as part of the Korea-Poland economic delegation, signed an MOU on the 14th (local time) in Warsaw, Poland, with the Polish Construction Association and ERBUD, the third-largest local construction company, to establish a cooperative relationship.

View original imageThrough this business agreement, Daewoo E&C has built a network with local construction companies in Poland. It is expected that cooperation with these companies will enable business promotion in various sectors such as energy and infrastructure, in addition to the ongoing nuclear power plant projects. Daewoo E&C had already signed cooperation MOUs related to new nuclear power projects with BUDIMEX, the top local company in Poland, in November 2021, and POLIMEX-Mostostal, the second-largest company, in June 2022.
Additionally, on the afternoon of the 14th local time, Daewoo E&C participated in a Korea-Poland-Ukraine trilateral construction company networking event for Ukraine reconstruction cooperation, hosted by the Overseas Construction Association, where they engaged with companies from Poland and Ukraine.

A Daewoo E&C official stated, “Daewoo E&C is already preparing for the Polish commercial nuclear power market as Team Korea together with KHNP, and through the MOU signed this time, we have laid an important foundation for establishing networks with the Polish Construction Association and local companies to discover and participate in new projects beyond nuclear power.” He added, “We can now expect to secure numerous opportunities to participate in public infrastructure projects and new growth businesses within the expanding Polish construction market, and with the active support of the government, we will showcase South Korea’s construction technology in the Polish market and contribute to national prestige.”
