Park Kyung-seok, Former Jeonjangyeon Leader, Arrested in Flagrante Delicto... Repeatedly Disrupted Bus Operations
Park Kyung-seok, co-co-chairperson of the National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (Jeonjangyeon), was once again arrested by the police. Despite repeated warnings from the police, he was caught in the act for obstructing bus operations.

According to the police on the 14th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul arrested Park on the spot around 2 p.m. on charges of obstruction of business and violation of the Road Traffic Act.
Park is accused of obstructing the operation of Boseong Transport bus number 5618 on a branch line for three minutes starting from 2 p.m. in front of the Glad Hotel in Yeouido. Park and disability activists affiliated with Jeonjangyeon also held a protest the previous day by occupying the central lane bus stop near Hyehwa Rotary in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
A police official stated, "Despite multiple warnings from the police due to repeated obstruction of bus operations, they announced their intention to continue obstructing bus operations," adding, "Due to severe inconvenience to citizens, we had to arrest him in the act."
Park is scheduled to be transferred to and investigated at the Namdaemun Police Station in Seoul.

Meanwhile, Park was previously arrested on March 17 for obstructing train operations during assemblies and protests at Gyeongbokgung Station, Samgakji Station, and Sinyongsan Station in the Seoul subway.
