Chungnam Province Achieves $6.73 Million Export Consultation Success in Singapore
Chungnam Province achieved export consultation results worth $6.73 million at the ‘2023 Export Consultation Meeting’ held in Singapore.
On the 13th, Chungnam Province announced that it recently held a consultation meeting in Singapore with Chungnam Technopark to explore overseas market channels, achieving these results.
The consultation meeting was attended by eight small and medium-sized enterprises in the marine and fisheries sector from Chungnam, including anchovy snacks, stick gimjaban, dried gim, gim snacks, and mud cosmetics.
These companies led export consultations with products produced locally, achieving export consultation results and signing export contracts worth $780,000 across five deals.
In particular, Boryeong anchovy snacks received high interest from local buyers at the consultation meeting. Additionally, Boryeong mud cosmetics actively pursued export channels by visiting two of the largest cosmetics sales networks in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Following Singapore, Chungnam Province plans to hold a second export consultation meeting next month in New York, USA.

A Chungnam Province official stated, “Through the consultation meeting, participating companies investigated overseas local consumer trends and created opportunities to enter Singapore and Southeast Asia. Chungnam Province will continue to support the activation of exports by local companies reflecting overseas buyers and product trends, as well as diversification of export markets.”
