LG Uplus's daily record social networking service (SNS) 'Better (BETTER)' has achieved a cumulative record of 35,000 entries within 100 days of its launch. The company plans to grow it into a leading SNS service for the 25-35 age group in Korea, securing 1 million monthly users within three years.
On the 13th, LG Uplus held a Better briefing session in Jeong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, and announced this.

As of the 8th of this month, Better achieved a cumulative record of 35,419 entries within 100 days of its launch. Specifically, 'planned content,' which tells a story with a single item, accounted for the highest proportion at 42.7%. This was followed by 'daily records' (37.8%) and 'routine repetition' (17.4%).
LG Uplus announced its 'U+3.0' platform strategy last June to expand digital touchpoints and increase customer dwell time by deeply understanding customers based on data. Better is a representative service of the lifestyle platform, one of the core pillars of the U+3.0 strategy.
LG Uplus continuously analyzed the purposes and methods of the MZ generation recording and sharing their daily lives to understand customer needs. The company explained, "Customers consistently recorded their lives to reflect on themselves and had a strong desire to positively influence others."
Better's main features include 'Board,' where users can upload photos and texts by desired topics such as daily life, exercise, hobbies, and restaurants; 'Goal Achievement,' which provides a D-day function when a completion date is set; 'Social Sharing,' which allows sharing one's records on other SNS platforms; and 'Communication' with other users.
In particular, the ‘Community’ program, where users consistently leave records with leaders by interest, is popular. The community led by author Bonghyun, who wrote 'Orderly Repetition Will Save Me,' attracted about 1,400 members within two days of recruitment and was closed early.
LG Uplus plans to develop Better into Korea's leading SNS service for the 25-35 age group with over 1 million monthly active users (MAU) within three years. To this end, the company plans to enhance the service so users can continuously use Better, including adding an 'Archive' feature that allows easy recording with simple templates. They are also listening to customer inconveniences and making immediate improvements, such as redesigning the home screen and adding communication features.
