CJ Logistics Recruits Top Talent in AI, Big Data, and Consulting Fields
CJ Logistics announced on the 13th that it has recruited new executives (management leaders): Kim Jeonghee as Head of the Data & Solutions Group, Kim Minsu in charge of AI & Big Data, and Kim Minjeong in charge of Strategic Sales Consulting.
CJ Logistics has made efforts to invest in future intangible assets such as advanced technologies and to secure specialized talent in order to proactively respond to the rapidly changing logistics trends shifting from labor- and experience-intensive to technology-intensive.
On the 10th, the company boldly restructured its business model, which had been centered on infrastructure and scale for over 90 years, to focus on advanced technology. Additionally, it established the Data & Solutions Group to accelerate business structure innovation based on AI and big data.

View original imageKim Jeonghee, the management leader who will oversee the newly established Data & Solutions Group, earned a bachelor's and master's degree in electrical engineering from Seoul National University. At Naver, she developed numerous commercialized services including voice search and AI translation, which were among the first to commercialize artificial intelligence technology. Later, she served as the head of the AI-specialized organization 'AIRS Company' and Chief Data Officer (CDO) at Hyundai Motor Company.
Kim Minsu, the management leader in charge of AI & Big Data under the Data & Solutions Group, majored in machine learning and databases at KAIST, earning both a master's and a doctorate. He has held positions such as head of the AI Advanced Research Department at Samsung SDS and head of the AI Unit as well as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Shinhan AI at Shinhan Bank.
Kim Minjeong, who will be responsible for Strategic Sales Consulting, earned a master's degree in Global Logistics Management from Inha University Graduate School of Logistics. She has worked as a lead consultant for logistics innovation at Samsung SDS and led logistics teams at KPMG and Deloitte Consulting.
