Porsche Sells 167,354 Units in First Half of Year... 15% Increase Compared to Previous Year
Rising Trend Across All Sales Markets
Porsche AG announced on the 13th that it delivered 167,354 vehicles to customers during the first half of this year. This represents a 15% increase compared to the same period last year.
Double-digit growth rates were recorded in the European and German markets. In Europe, 36,574 vehicles were delivered, marking a 23% increase compared to the previous year. In Germany alone, 17,118 vehicles were sold, a 24% increase. The North American market saw deliveries rise by 12% to 41,937 units. In China, 43,832 vehicles were delivered, an 8% increase. Other markets recorded sales of 27,893 vehicles, a 16% increase compared to the previous year.
By product, the Macan led with 47,755 units sold, a 26% increase from the previous year. The Cayenne sold 46,884 units. The 911 recorded 26,124 units, and the Taycan reached 17,991 units, representing increases of 21% and a decrease of 5%, respectively. The Panamera (17,565 units) and the 718 Boxster and Cayman (11,035 units) followed.
