KT-IGA Works Jointly Host
Over 300 Broadcast Advertising Professionals Attend
Next-Generation TV Advertising Platform 'ZTL Solution'
On the 12th, KT announced that it successfully held the "Broadcast Advertising Digital Transformation" conference on the 11th at the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel in Songpa-gu, Seoul, together with IGAWorks, the nation's leading mobile big data platform company, to promote addressable TV advertising. Addressable TV advertising is an advertising technique that enables targeting based on viewing data and interests. Even if viewers watch the same channel at the same time, households can be exposed to different ads according to interest analysis through big data.
The event was held under the theme of "A new integrated media solution that eliminates the boundary between TV and digital." It was organized to share insights on the limitations and opportunities of TV advertising and to introduce the ‘ZTL (Zero The Line) solution,’ the growth engine of the next-generation advertising market. About 300 participants from advertisers, media companies, and broadcasting channel usage operators (PP) attended. KT and IGAWorks executives presented in three sessions: ▲ Dreaming of the future of broadcast advertising with Data and Tech ▲ ZTL finally changes broadcast advertising strategy and execution ▲ The evolution and success cases of addressable TV brought by ZTL.
The ‘ZTL solution,’ jointly developed by KT and IGAWorks, is an integrated marketing platform that breaks down the boundaries between media by utilizing TV and mobile data.
Its features include ▲ overcoming the limitations of home media characteristics ▲ TV advertising targeting based on mobile usage characteristics ▲ measuring mobile responses and analyzing purchase conversion performance after TV ad viewing ▲ consulting to achieve optimal advertising effects. Going forward, KT plans to develop a new form of advertising business that connects TV, mobile, and various digital media based on its own anonymous advertising ID and vast big data.
