Yeongdeungpo-gu, Operation of Resident School for Redevelopment Projects
‘Maintenance Project Residents' School’ to be held at 4 PM on the 12th... Accelerating maintenance projects through on-site communication
Providing tailored information through estimated contribution fee guidance and Q&A to resolve inquiries
Choi Ho-kwon, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor: "We will mobilize all administrative capabilities to create a pleasant residential environment and transform into a premium residential city"
Yeongdeungpo District (Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will collaborate with Seoul City to conduct the ‘Visiting Housing Redevelopment Maintenance Project Residents' School’ to accelerate redevelopment projects.
The area around 104, Dangsan-dong 6-ga, despite having excellent location conditions adjacent to Subway Lines 2 and 9 and the Han River, had redevelopment stagnated due to narrow and elongated land plots and blocked Han River views by nearby apartments.
Accordingly, Seoul City selected this area as a Rapid Integrated Housing Redevelopment site in May and is currently establishing a maintenance plan to develop an apartment complex with 39 floors and approximately 780 households.
Meanwhile, at 4 PM on the 12th, a ‘Maintenance Project Residents' School’ will be held at the district office annex auditorium for landowners and others in the 104 area of Dangsan-dong 6-ga.
This residents' school will focus on the criteria for calculating estimated contribution fees and the direct establishment system of the association. The district will explain the methods and procedures for calculating the estimated contribution fees, which residents are most curious about. Then, it will introduce the direct establishment system of the association, which can speed up the redevelopment project by omitting the formation of a promotion committee. Finally, there will be a Q&A session to resolve any questions about the maintenance project.
The district expects that the residents' school will easily convey the complex and difficult procedures and laws of the maintenance project to residents, resolving information asymmetry and preventing potential disputes and conflicts.
Furthermore, through on-site communication tailored to residents' perspectives, the district plans to reduce trial and error and rapidly advance the redevelopment project.
Additionally, the district will fully mobilize its administrative capabilities to become a premium residential city by opening the Yeongdeungpo Redevelopment and Reconstruction Consultation Center to initiate maintenance projects and preparing maintenance plans for development-deprived areas through a public project candidate site discovery service.
The district will also promote the reconstruction of aging complexes by supporting safety inspection costs.
