Yoon Jong-kyu, KB Financial Group Chairman, Joins 'Single-Use Plastics Zero Challenge'
Yoon Jong-kyu, Chairman of KB Financial Group, participated in the 'Single-Use Products Zero (ZERO) Challenge' on the 11th.
The 'Single-Use Products ZERO Challenge' began in February with Han Hwa-jin, Minister of Environment, and is a nationwide eco-friendly campaign aimed at reducing the use of single-use products in daily life and increasing the use of reusable products.
Through a video participating in the challenge, Chairman Yoon said, "KB Financial is also joining the Single-Use Products ZERO Challenge to reduce single-use products in daily life," and added, "We ask for the active participation of the public so that small daily actions considering the environment can spread."
KB Financial has eliminated single-use cups in its in-house cafes and provides reusable cups. Employees actively practice reducing single-use products by making personal tumbler use a habit. Additionally, recycling collection machines that accept PET bottles and cans in exchange for points have been installed within the company to participate in resource circulation.
