Daegu Bank's 'Saeheemang Holssi Loan' Lowers Interest Rate to 1% for Low-Income Groups
DGB Daegu Bank is implementing an interest rate reduction on the low-income loan product 'DGB Saehee Hope Holssi' to alleviate the financial cost burden on financially vulnerable groups amid the ongoing high interest rate environment.
Daegu Bank stated, "Until the end of this year, low-income individuals who take out a Saehee Hope Holssi loan will see the average interest rate reduced by 1%, an increase from the previous 0.5% reduction, bringing the rate to around 6%. The interest rate reduction benefit will be automatically applied upon new loan issuance without any separate verification process."
Low-income individuals wishing to receive the interest rate reduction can apply through the DGB Daegu Bank iM Bank (app) or at any branch.
A Daegu Bank official said, "The Saehee Hope Holssi loan product allows borrowing up to 35 million KRW. The average interest rate is around 6%. Eligible low-income individuals for the interest rate reduction are those with an annual income between 8 million KRW and 40 million KRW, and the application of the interest rate reduction is determined considering credit ratings and other factors."
