The 9th Asia Economy Honam Cup Junior Golf Championship for nurturing junior golf players will be held on the 18th and 19th at Hwasun Ellice Country Club in Jeonnam.
Hosted by the Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters and organized by the Gwangju Metropolitan City Golf Association, this tournament is held annually to support the dreams and hopes of junior golfers.
According to the 2023 Korea Golf Association player registration regulations, registered professional players who are middle and high school male and female golfers nationwide participate.
The competition determines rankings based on a 36-hole maximum score stroke play format, playing 18 holes per day over two days.
After completing the 36 holes, the player with the lowest score becomes the winner. In case of a tie, no separate playoff will be held; rankings will be decided by the countback method on the scorecard (the 18 holes of the final round (holes 1?18), back 9 holes (10?18), back 6 holes (13?18), back 3 holes (16?18), 18th hole, front 6 holes (4?9), front 3 holes (7?9), 9th hole).
Trophies and scholarships will be awarded to the top five players in both the men's and women's divisions.
