Jeongeup-si to Operate 'Mobile Stamp Tour' Starting from the 20th
Jeongeup City in Jeollabuk-do will operate the 'Jeongeup City Mobile Stamp Tour' from the 20th of this month until November.
According to the city on the 10th, this mobile stamp tour was promoted to publicize famous tourist attractions and to revitalize the 'Jeongeup City Smart Tourism Electronic Map.'
The operation locations include 7 sites in the Naejangsan Leisure and Recreation Zone, 8 sites in the Donghak Peasant Revolution Cultural Zone, 5 sites in the Jeongeupsa Cultural Zone, and 6 sites in the Taesan Seonbi Cultural Zone, totaling 26 sites across 4 zones.
To participate in the stamp tour, first download the 'Jeongeup City Electronic Map' from Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your smartphone. Then, when visiting the designated tourist sites, you can automatically collect stamps through GPS recognition.
Participants who collect 8 or more stamps and enter their personal information will receive Jeongeup’s specialty, oats, mailed to them early next month.
Those who certify their reviews on SNS will additionally receive a Jeongeup City tourism postcard.
A city official said, "We hope visitors can soothe their weary minds and bodies and relax in Jeongeup, which is full of pristine natural environments like Naejangsan and cultural and historical sites," adding, "We expect this stamp tour to be a great opportunity to revitalize the local economy that has been stagnant."
