Meet LGU+’s Iconic Character 'Muneo' Offline
LG Uplus announced on the 10th that it will introduce its representative character ‘Muneo’ at the complex cultural space ‘Ilsang Biilsang-ui Teum’ (Teum) and the ‘Character Licensing Fair’ held at COEX.
The ‘Muneo’s Amuneoke Pop-up Store’ held at Teum located on Gangnam-daero, Seoul, until the 23rd, sells more than 50 Muneo goods including dolls, figures, socks, and eco bags. In particular, collaboration goods produced with other brands such as Wadiz and Battlegrounds can be previewed before their official release.

The Wadiz collaboration goods, scheduled to open funding next month, include five items: playing cards, diaries, portable gargles, selfie grips, and vegan hand wash, all of which can be experienced at Teum. The Battlegrounds collaboration keyring ‘Samttuk Muneo,’ which will be released next month, will also be exhibited.
LG Uplus customers can purchase items at a 20% discount, and customers of other companies can receive a 10% discount by joining the Teum app or the Muneo community ‘Muneo41.com.’ Customers who purchase more than 20,000 won will be given a photo box shooting ticket at ‘Sihyeonhada’ installed in Teum.
The game zone set up at the pop-up store allows visitors to enjoy various games. The games include ‘King Muneo Ring Toss Game,’ ‘Muneo Bell Ringing Game,’ ‘Playing Card Flip,’ and ‘Doll Claw Machine.’ Customers who collect all the stamps received upon participation can randomly receive one of the following: ▲Muneo sticker ▲Wiggle Wiggle ready bag set ▲Holman mood lamp ▲I Hate Monday eco bag ▲I Hate Monday socks.
In addition, LG Uplus plans to introduce the ‘Muneo Crew,’ consisting of Muneo, ‘Holman,’ and ‘Aji,’ at the Character Licensing Fair held for four days from the 13th to the 16th at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The booth will consist of content and goods introducing the diverse charms of Muneo, and will be divided into three zones: the ‘History Zone’ introducing the history and main activities of the Muneo Crew, the ‘Office Zone’ designed with the concept of Muneo’s office daily life, and the ‘Meeting & Healing Zone’ offering customer meetings and events.
Visitors to the booth can participate in various events. Along with the ‘Roulette Event’ held daily at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., offering Holman mood lamps, eco bags, socks, etc., ‘Lucky Muneo Amulet Making’ and ‘Stamp Tour’ will also be held.
In the future, LG Uplus plans to participate in the ‘2023 Water Gun Festival’ held in August at the Culture Station Seoul 284 in Mapo-gu, Seoul, together with Krafton’s ‘Battlegrounds,’ installing a large Muneo sculpture and operating a promotional booth. In September, LG Uplus will host a League of Legends tournament with the esports team ‘Gen.G Esports’ while also promoting the production of Muneo collaboration content and products.
