Jangseong-gun, Jeonnam, Conducts Experiential Activities with Children at Everland

Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do recently announced on the 9th that it conducted experiential activities with Dream Start children in grades 4 to 6 over a 1-night, 2-day schedule at Everland in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, and the Korean Folk Village.

On the first day, the children enjoyed themselves by using an all-day pass at Everland, riding amusement rides, and participating in various experiential facilities.

On the second day, they visited the Korean Folk Village, where they experienced traditional houses, folk games, and Korean archery under the guidance of a cultural interpreter.

Jangseong-gun Dream Start is a program that provides health, welfare, and educational services to infants, children under 12, and their families.

Last year, Jangseong-gun received great responses by implementing various customized supports such as ▲ Visiting Dream School (learning material support) ▲ Parent education through role-playing ▲ Eyeglass support for school-age children ▲ Psychological therapy.

This year, they are actively promoting more than 30 programs.

Kim Han-jong, the mayor of Jangseong-gun, stated, “We plan to continue operating various projects so that local children can grow into healthy members of society.”
