Volkswagen Korea announced on the 7th that it will provide ID.4, Touareg, Arteon, and Golf vehicles for the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Akgui."
The pure electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) ID.4 appears as the vehicle of Yeom Haesang, a folklore professor from a wealthy family who is tracking the evil spirit in the drama. In addition, models such as the Touareg, Arteon, and Golf are expected to appear in various scenes in the future.
"Akgui," which first aired on the 23rd of last month, is a Korean-style occult mystery drama about a woman possessed by an evil spirit and a man who can see the spirit, as they investigate a mysterious death. The script is written by writer Kim Eun-hee, and actors Kim Tae-ri and Oh Jung-se star in the drama. It recorded a 10% viewership rating within just two episodes during its first week of airing.
