Jeonnam Provincial Council Rural Development Research Group Seeks Measures for Youth Startup Settlement
The Jeonnam Provincial Council research group ‘Rural Development Research Association’ announced on the 6th that it held a ‘Kick-off Meeting’ at the Suncheon National University Industry-Academic Cooperation Center to promote the settlement of young entrepreneurial farmers in the region.
At the meeting, members of the Rural Development Research Association and related department officials attended and discussed the task details and research methods of the project conducted by the Suncheon National University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.

Representative Jeong Young-gyun stated, “We will propose customized policy directions so that Jeonnam’s rural economy continues to develop and young people settle in the region, bringing new hope and vitality to rural areas.”

The Rural Development Research Association consists of a total of 11 Jeonnam Provincial Council members, led by Representative Jeong Young-gyun (Suncheon 1), including Han Chun-ok (Suncheon 2), Jeong Gil-su (Muan 1), Lee Gyu-hyeon (Damyang 2), Kim Tae-gyun (Gwangyang 3), Choi Byeong-yong (Yeosu 5), Kim Seong-il (Haenam 1), Kim Jeong-hee (Suncheon 3), Choi Myeong-su (Naju 2), Choi Mu-gyeong (Yeosu 4), and Park Hyeong-dae (Jangheung 1).
