Expansion of ESG MyData... Kyobo Life Insurance Partners with Korea Climate Environment Institute
Partnering with a Specialized Research Institute on Carbon
Kyobo Life Insurance has partnered with a specialized carbon-related research institute to expand its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) perspective financial MyData (personal credit information management) services.
On the 6th, Kyobo Life Insurance announced that it signed a "Carbon Reduction Value Realization Business Agreement" with the Korea Climate and Environment Institute. The Korea Climate and Environment Institute is a group of experts dedicated to effectively addressing climate change, promoting energy transition, and solving environmental issues.
Through this agreement, Kyobo Life plans to discover service ideas that customers can tangibly experience related to financial MyData and proceed with commercialization. In particular, it will focus on expanding the MyData service area and enhancing customer experience by embodying the ESG management principles pursued by Kyobo Life.
Previously, Kyobo Life Insurance was the first in the insurance industry to obtain full approval for the MyData business from the Financial Services Commission in July 2021 and officially launched the service in January 2022.

A Kyobo Life Insurance official said, "Our goal is to help people lead healthy and proper financial lives through MyData services," adding, "We plan to provide MyData services that reflect Kyobo Life's unique identity so that customers can understand and proactively utilize financial services."
