View original imageThe Pohang Women’s Cooperative, launched earlier this year as the first women’s cooperative in Gyeongbuk with a Mother Center function, is promoting various activities for local women.
It is a family-friendly community that supports women’s childcare, caregiving, growth, and independence together through strengthening family capabilities and local mutual aid.
Kim Kyung-mi, Chairperson of the Pohang Women’s Cooperative, said, “We will work together to create a Pohang where work and caregiving coexist and family and life are harmonious,” adding, “We hope for active encouragement and support so that more women can participate in economic activities.”
