Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Inspects Installation Site of Flood Barriers in Residential Area of Seongsan-dong
On the afternoon of the 5th, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, visited the site where flood barriers were being installed in preparation for flooding in the Seongsan-dong area.
Although there were no serious flood damages in Mapo-gu last year, due to the forecast of frequent rain this year, the district conducted a full survey of semi-basement houses in the area by June and is currently installing flood barriers in homes that require them.
On this day, Mayor Park Gang-su, along with the Director of the Transportation and Construction Bureau and about 10 other executives, visited the installation site of flood barriers at semi-basement houses in Seongsan-dong to check the work and directly inspect the installation status.

In particular, review improvements to the flood barriers both aesthetically and functionally.”
