Igloo Corporation Wins Cybersecurity Center Project in Kyrgyzstan
Igloo Corporation announced on the 5th that the Igloo Consortium has won a 4.2 billion KRW contract for the construction of the Kyrgyzstan National Integrated Cybersecurity Center.
The contract is part of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) project promoted by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) targeting partner countries. The goal is to strengthen Kyrgyzstan's cybersecurity system by establishing a national cybersecurity center that complies with international information security standards. As the main contractor, Igloo Corporation is responsible for overseeing the entire project based on over 20 years of experience in building and operating security control centers and developing security solutions.
Igloo Corporation will undertake a wide range of tasks, from building the cybersecurity center to establishing security control systems and providing security training. Igloo Corporation will provide ▲national cybersecurity center system construction ▲security control system construction for target institutions ▲security control system establishment ▲security personnel training ▲and its own SIEM solution, 'SPiDER TM'. The security control environment will incorporate the latest security threat response technologies and offer training curricula tailored to the local staff's level.
Based on Igloo Corporation’s security and IT capabilities concentrated in the security control center and security control processes, Kyrgyzstan is expected to enhance the stability of its cyber environment, encompassing the national cybersecurity center and subordinate institutions. Through this project, Kyrgyzstan will establish a verified quality security control system and strengthen its incident response capabilities.
